Childhood Fun Relived Can Bring Joy and Connections

Every family has their own way of having fun and spending time together. For some families, that might mean watching a movie or going for a walk together. For other families, it might mean playing board games or chasing each other around the house. No matter what your family enjoys doing together, there's one thing that's always important: laughter. Laughter is the best way to relieve tension and stress, and it's a great way to bond with your loved ones. So, this Thanksgiving, we want to know: what makes your family laugh?

Do you remember any fun activities or games you played with your dad as a kid? Do you ever wish you could relive one of those moments? This Thanksgiving we had a hoot of a time as my husband began chasing our youngest daughter (now a mom with three kids). He chased her around the house like he does her boys. She was screaming and pushing anyone out of her way so he wouldn't catch her. I have not laughed so hard in such a long time. Her 2nd grade son turned to his aunt, (the oldest sister) and said, "Man, this is intense!" Laughter is such a blessed relief from tension and the everyday stresses.

Our family also has gotten into playing the board game Resistance. Again we laugh so hard trying to fake each other out and win the game. What does your family do that makes you all laugh? We'd love to hear your stories in the comments!

No matter what your family enjoys doing together, laughter is always important. Laughter is the best way to relieve tension and stress, and it's a great way to bond with your loved ones. So this Holiday Season, we want to know: what makes your family laugh? What could you do to bring some laughter back into your home? Sometimes the most unexpected events, bring memories and joy beyond measure.

Love on your families this Christmas season. Each gathering is a special blessing to cherish.

Blessings
